The Berwickshire coastline, with its small villages of St Abbs, Coldingham and Burnmouth, provides fascinating and beautiful scenery - from high cliffs and deep, clear water to sandy coves and quaint fishing harbour/ Eyemouth, and its natural harbour and sandy beaches lies a mere five miles north of the Border with England. Inland, Duns retains the air of an old Scottish Burgh with its spacious Market Square. Savour the commanding views from Duns Law before driving on through Chirnside, home to the late World Champion racing driver, Jim Clark, into the village of Allanton and onto Coldstream, once a rival to Gretna for runaway marriages. Finish up in picturesque Kelso where the Town Trail features local buildings of architectural and historic interest.
